The VA Tech grad students are now working with the NVFPC for community based fall risk assessments here in Loudoun.

The Northern Virginia Fall Prevention Coalition (NVFPC) is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization committed to educating our community in fall prevention. Our members are local professionals and fall prevention experts who work with the aging population and their families everyday and have witnessed firsthand how devastating falls can be physically, emotionally and financially.
Since forming in November 2008, the NVFPC has conducted free fall prevention seminars at many venues across Northern Virginia, and has distributed thousands of pieces of fall prevention literature to the public and medical community. We have only begun our work to make fall prevention programs a priority in our community. We need your support in letting every member of our community know that “Falls are not an inevitable part of aging, falls are preventable!”
